Who Can Attend
The course is primarily designed for Line Managers with responsibility for people or processes and is equally relevant for managers and supervisors at any level who require a basic broad view of current health and safety requirements and principles.
Assessment and Certification
Candidates who attend and successfully complete the course will be awarded a certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Candidates must pass an end of course assessment and workplace practical risk assessment project.
Course Overview
The IOSH Managing Safely course will help you improve the safety awareness culture in your organisation, see your productivity increase and enhance your reputation within your supply chain by embedding safety and health across the whole organisation.
IOSH Managing Safely is a health and safety training course delivered over 3 or 4 days and designed to educate line managers on their Health Safety and Environmental responsibilities and build the confidence to put it all into practice improving the safety awareness culture in your organisation. The course aims to cover all major HSE issues and provide delegates with the right level of knowledge and practical experience needed to manage key issues within their teams.

Module 3: Controlling risks
Module 4: Understanding your responsibilities
Module 5: Identifying hazards
Module 6: Investigating accidents and incidents
Module 7: Measuring performance
Module 8: Protecting our environment
Course Fees
£500/ candidate based on 3 consecutive days training. Generous discounts are available for longer courses.
- Option 1 – On an individual basis – £500 + VAT each.
- Option 2 – For 12 candidates on a course – £5500 + VAT.
- Option 3 – For 20 candidates on a course – £9000 + VAT.
Fees include face to face classroom tuition, exam, IOSH workbooks and IOSH certificates for successful candidates.
