Office Administrator

Full time | North-East | £24,000 (pro rata) per annum.

About The Role

Due to continued growth, SRC is seeking an Office Administrator to join the team in Stockton-on-Tees. The role of Office Administrator at SRC will be to help provide support to the day to day running of the office and business needs. Your development is important to SRC, therefore there will be an opportunity to expand your knowledge and training.

SRC are an independent fast-growing North East based consultancy specialising in Health and Safety, Lifting Compliance Services and Cost & Project Management throughout the UK. Since its formation in 2010, SRC has delivered a multitude of projects within the commercial, renewables, education, leisure, and residential markets for both public and private sector clients. SRC’s head office is located in Stockton-on-Tees with regional offices in Derby, Newcastle and Glasgow.

The role

  • Produce and compose letters and emails
  • Client and guest interaction/communication when contacting via telephone or attending the main office
  • Communication, confirmation and booking of accommodation and travel.
  • Document creation and editing using IT systems such as word, excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Arrange and book meetings
  • Organising trips and events
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and shared learning events
  • Assisting with day-to-day duties such as printing, file documentation collation, stationary ordering and general office tasks

Skills, knowledge and relevant qualifications

  • Confident communicator both in oral and written form. You will be required to communicate with a range of levels with clients and external organisations
  • Good time management skills
  • Confident and approachable personality that invokes trust and respect both internally and within a project team
  • Able to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in the use of office, excel and powerpoint
  • Driver with full license and access to own vehicle (Desirable)

Other requirements

  • Willing to undertake relevant security clearance checks, and inductions as required by our clients (DBS etc)
  • All staff must have a driving licence and the ability to drive to projects, although sustainable travel and the use of Teams is encouraged to help the carbon footprint of the work of SRC
