Danny Travis is a Director and co-founder of SRC:LCS and is responsible for the delivery of lifting compliance services.

Danny has worked in the lifting industry for over two decades, with 10 years of that time spent working in the wind energy industry for the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturer.

Throughout this time, he has planned, managed or held overall responsibility for the safe execution of lifting operations within construction, commissioning, manufacturing, transport & logistics, operations & maintenance, main component exchanges and decommissioning of turbines, across both on and offshore activities.

More recently Danny has worked in corporate EHS and was responsible for the global risk management strategy of all lifting operations within his employers’ organization. Danny has experience of developing corporate, national and industry lifting operations standards and guidance and has previously been appointed as an industry expert on the lifting and/or crane safety committees of the British Standards Institution (BSI), Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), SafetyOn and G+ Global Offshore Wind Health & Safety Organisation.
